THUNDER BAY, ON - JUNE 15, 2017 — The RBC Executive Women’s Day presented by Pandora is back for another year at the Staal Foundation Open presented by Tbaytel on Wednesday, July 12th at Whitewater Golf Club. The day will include networking, an inspirational Keynote speaker, gourmet lunch, great entertainment and a special gift from Pandora Intercity.

Executive Women’s Day is an important part of Mackenzie Tour - PGA TOUR Canada events as a forum for local business leaders and innovators to engage in dialogue, share ideas and network. It is a significant event at the Staal Foundation Open supporting the tournament’s fundraising efforts, which donates 100 percent of its proceeds to local charities. In 2016 the RBC Executive Women’s Day presented by Pandora raised over $15,000 for families with children battling cancer.

“Women attending RBC Women’s Day presented by Pandora can expect a fun filled afternoon of good food and networking. The most important part of this event is the fact that we are contributing to a great cause,” said Anna Pascuzzo, Chair, RBC Women’s Day. “It’s a great feeling to know you have made a difference in your community and I know that women attending this event will walk away feeling that way” continued Pascuzzo.

RBC Women’s Day is an interactive day for women from all walks of life to get together and enhance their careers and personal well-being and take in a day at the tournament. This year’s speaker is Laurie Joy, the founder and owner of the Mama Mojo Movement. Known for being a proud wife and mother, Laurie Joy hosts a bustling community of moms supporting each other while they learn the skills to live a life they love.

“More often than not women are the caregivers and usually put everyone else’s needs before their own. My keynote address will touch on what it means to live your best life as a woman, putting you on the right track to make life happen” said Laurie Joy, Owner, Mama Mojo. “My goal has always been to inspire and support other women, so I hope to see everyone leave the RBC Women’s Day with a fire in their belly, swagger in their step and on their way to living a fulfilling life” said Joy.
